Free* Parking |
Parking is the bane of all existence - I really believe it. It
seems in Columbus there are more cars than parking areas to handle all
of them, so a percentage of the population is doomed to always circle,
looking for a parking space.
Some Updates. A few new opportunities over WEST of Nationwide Arena. There is new construction in the area, and some parking is impacted.

Personally, I normally park in the lot known as "3" In the past it has been about $8 per day if you arrive "Early Bird" before 8am.
The Convention Center / Hyatt parking ramp (#2) is very costly, but you do get a space immediately underneath the Hyatt / Convention Center, just a short elevator ride to the Food Court, and Ballroom areas.
The area listed as #3, the Convention Center West Parking Ramp and Surface Lot. It's not too bad and very close. However FRIDAY and SATURDAY evenings, when the clubs are all going, exiting from this garage can be a nightmare.
#4 is absolutely my favorite, when I can get it. It's a small lot at the North end of the Convention Center. Almost never happens :( .
*Free Parking Tip/Trick: Meters have been changed a lot, and the costs have been increased. You are unlikely to find ANY free parking, even on Sundays now..
Traffic and Parking are handled by different departments when it comes to tickets. The information is available over on the WHERE? page.
*Free? I would say NO, since that's almost completely unlikely before Sunday.
